The STERLING Land Surveying Department routinely operates several field crews each day. Each of our nine off-road capable vehicles is equipped with a UHF mobile radio. Also each crew member has a portable radio and each crew chief has a cellular phone, providing excellent communication capabilities in the field and between the field and office. Field computers are used to provide quick, accurate electronic data collection and transfer of data between the office computer network and the field computer.
