Located on the east bank of beautiful Fort Loudoun Lake, Lowe's Ferry is a 300-acre gated community comprising undisturbed wooded areas and an array of nature trails and open fields. A former ferry site linking Blount and Knox Counties where communities were established due to favorable land and water conditions converging, today this waterfront property features parcels up to three acres in size that have been designed to keep Tennessee’s beautiful rolling countryside intact for future generations. Lowe’s Ferry criteria for “rural by design” philosophy for minimal impact design, is demonstrated by density that blends in with the natural landscape.
STERLING Architecture has been working with the project manager, to develop a unique and appropriate image for Lowe's Ferry through their neighborhood monumentation and Yacht Club designs. They have also consulted on ways their design guidelines could help achieve an elevated design standard and help property owners build homes that will be in harmony with the vision intended for this land. Phase two of construction is currently underway and the STERLING designed gated entrance has been completed.
